PGA Golf Club is home to "Best in State Golf Courses you can Play" May 06 2022

The flagship 54-hole property of the PGA of America, PGA Golf Club boasts three highly awarded courses designed by Pete Dye and Tom Fazio and is the preeminent destination for those who love to play the game. The Wanamaker Course, named in honor of Rodman Wanamaker who inspired the birth of the PGA of America, is widely considered as one of the most picturesque layouts in Florida. Fazio designed a course that blends seamlessly into its natural surroundings. The Dye Course features some of the most elaborate bunkers east of the Mississippi, as well as vast coquina waste areas and devilish greens that treat guests to a wildly entertaining round of golf. Named after Samuel Ryder, the namesake and founder of the Ryder Cup, the Ryder Course meanders over rolling hills and through majestic pine trees, and several lakes and ponds line the fairways and guard the greens, requiring golfers to be sharp on tee shots and approaches.

Adding to the buzz is the 20,000 square foot clubhouse that includes the touted Taplow Pub and on-site “PGA Gallery,” which displays golf memorabilia and the PGA’s rich history. PGA Golf Club also offers attractive membership opportunities at competitive pricing, including a six-month Premier Seasonal Membership with limited spots available. Members can enjoy private dining, food and beverage discounts at the 1916 Bar and Grille, and merchandise discounts in their AGM Platinum Award-winning “Top 100 Golf Shop” – all with no assessments or F&B minimums. Port St. Lucie is located 125 miles southeast of Orlando, and 114 miles northwest of Miami.  The city is home to the New York Mets spring training, the St. Lucie Mets Florida State League team and the Gulf Coast League Mets rookie level team in the Gulf Coast League.

PGA Golf Club is also celebrating 25 Years as an Audubon Certified Sanctuary, which recognizes sensitive maintenance practices, dedication to projects that enhance wildlife habitat, sustainability and our commitment to environmental quality.

The Wanamaker Course ranked 17th in Golfweek’s 2021 Best: State-by-State Courses You Can Play rankings, while the Dye Course ranked 27th, making PGA Golf Club one of only a handful of properties with two layouts on the respected list.
